How much will I be worth?

Now you are serious about your life. You have a sheet of white paper and a pen…. you are starting to want to plan. “Where do I start??”

First, write out all your expenses, believe me I know, it is endless and you are afraid the total sum of your expenses might just exceed your income. But itemizing your living expenses may just help you budget better and plan for future expenses. You will now have a clearer picture of you financial status. THIS IS A GOOD START.

Where does that money go? America, it seems, is in the midst of a savings crisis. Personal savings rates have dropped in recent years and remain low by historical standards as many people continue to spend beyond their means. So if you are having problem saving, be consoled…. You are NOT alone. But you do not want to be in the crowd, you want to start to save. It might be time to create a budget, to find out how much you will be worth in 10, 20 or 30 years……..
